Teaching your toddler how to count.

My son recently turned two. And I was surprised to hear him count 1-10. Though not perfectly! But it’s a huge milestone.

I didn’t directly taught him how to count. But every time he come out of the bathroom, I ask him to stomp his feet on the foot rug while I count 1 – 10. He’s 2 years old and 15 days now, and I can ask him to count 1 – 10, and he proudly do so in front of his grandparents and aunties!

Tips: once in a while count 1 – 10, our toddler is quietly memorizing everything we say. 🙂

Happy Parenting!

  1. I just discovered that my little girl could count too. It’s amazing how they really do pick up on everything & then poof out of the blue they reveal all they have learned as if it just happened over night. It is incredible isn’t it?
