I was supposed to buy a mid-range Lenovo smartphone. Then I saw the Oppo salesgirl doing a demo. It really caught my attention because the screen was so bright and the video plays well. So I waited for my turn and asked her for a midrange Oppo phone that will fit my budget. She suggested the Oppo Neo 3. After an exhaustive demo of Oppo Neo 3, I asked her if they have a demo phone of the Lenovo A536 so I can compare the camera. Aside from the text and call I also want a decent camera. The salesgirl began comparing the camera of both phones by putting both brightness to maximum (to be fair). We tried the primary camera then we did the selfie. Viola! Oppo Neo had better result!
Well this is not an exhaustive technical review of Oppo Neo 3 R831. But it’s a review of what I like the most about the phone.
I bought this phone 11 days ago.
Here’s what’s inside the box.
Oppo Neo 3 smartphone
Earphone
Charger (notice that I already wrapped it with a yellow green and white charger cord for added protection, I bought from CD-R king)

A closer look at the phone.
Sample shot of the 5 mega pixel primary camera.
Sample shot of the 2 mega pixel secondary camera.
It’s pretty decent for the price of the phone. Of course I did not expect that the quality would that be of an iPhone or other expensive smartphones. Sometimes I wonder why people are complaining about their camera knowing that what they bought is a budget phone. 🙂
Here are some noteworthy specifications:
OS: Android OS (jelly bean)
CPU: dual core 1.3GHZ
Card slot: microSD up to 32GB
internal memory: 4 GB, 1 GB RAM
Dual sim: mini sim
Display : 4.5in
Primary Cam: 5 megapixel, autofocus, led
Secondary Cam: 2 megapixel
One more thing I like: most of the apps can be transferred to the memory card.
I bought it at Blue Light Gadgets Mall of Asia for Php6490 – great value for money.
When I was looking for a case in Trinoma, the salesman of Oppo said I should’ve bought it from him because they give free microSD.
That’s Oppo and I’m lovin’ it.
I just dropped by SM Manila and they have their own store at the lower ground level Cyberzone
Cheers to a sparkling beautiful life.
