Wedding Reception at Villa Ibarra Tagaytay

Weddings are happy moments.  It’s not just tying the knot, it’s not just a contract, but a bond between you and your spouse and God.  So there are three of you. Oh well if it’s a church wedding.  But don’t worry if your wedding is a civil one, you can still have a simple or grandeous church wedding after.  Just like what we did.  You can also stick to your civil wedding.

Anyway this is not my wedding but my husband’s friend (I wont disclose their names for privacy reasons). Ei, we were really excited because we haven’t attended a wedding for a long time.

I will go straight to the wedding reception because due to some religious conflict, we were not able to attend the catholic church wedding so we proceeded to the reception.

The very nice reception is at Villa Ibarra Tagaytay, the set up was great but what makes it different is the full and “i can almost touch the taal volcano” view from the reception area.

Take a look at these photos:

If you’re getting married in Tagaytay, and Taal Volcano is the highlight of Tagaytay aside from the cold weather, this is the place for you.

Villa Ibarra according to the staff is formerly a mansion.  Until the owners decided to turn it into a Villa.  There are different rooms available, they have an all glass room where you have a nice view of the Taal Volcano from your bedroom.  Just check their website for room description.

We came early, so we still have time to roam around the Villa and have some photos taken.

And yes, we dinned  for lunch in their restaurant before the reception.

My verdict, it’s really nice here. You get the feel of living in a mansion and have the wedding reception of your life.
